I believe that it is not the greatest idea as most of the time clothing is the reason for bullying. There have been many cases where chldren have been picked on just because they have not dressed up like others but in their own manner.
i thing they should allow us to chose because come of the clothing are every expensive and everyone are not well off and i thing you should be able to where what u have
What you wear can draw attention. Certain colors can mean gang affiliation and lead to fights. Girls dressing provocatively, as an act of rebellion, can distract male students and offend teachers. Freedom of expression is a right, and limited avenues of that should exist in learning environments. But, students should wear uniforms, so that they learn equality among each other and know who is in charge.
I believe having children wear school uniforms takes away the peer pressure that is so common, especially with high school aged kids. Uniforms level the field a bit and help equalize the students. It also takes away from the distractions that go along with some clothing choices that are worn to school, and from frivolous lawsuits about the civil rights of students being violated by not being allowed to wear clothing with slogans or inappropriate sayings on them.
The children that go to school should be allowed to express their rights, and wearing clothing can describe a person. I think that the ability to express yourself is one of the biggest things a child needs
Making the students wear a uniform can take away their individuality. I attend a public charter school, I am forced to wear a uniform. Every where I lokk people look like me because we are wearing the exact same thing. We can't wear certain types of jewelry, shoes or have oour hair done a certain way. i feel like a clone when I wear uniforms. Why should students have to anyway?
